ASSIGNMENTS	TASKS, TESTS & SURVEYS
Created inside the tool	Created in pools
Language is specific to assignments	Language seem related to tests
Changes must be updated twice to reflect correctly in the Gradebook	Changes take hold in the gradebook
You can't grade anything that wasn't submitted through the assignment tool	You can force a grade in the TTS tool no matter how the assignment was submitted.

Import from Assignments to TTS

Go to the course you want the assignments to come INTO
Go to TTS
Go to Pools
Import
Select the third choice to import from Assignments
Choose the course
Choose the assignments
Import

Assignments will come into two places. One set of pools and one set of assessments.
